Terms of Service & Policies
Studio B Drum Tuition • Barnsley, UK
⏱️ 1. The 24-Hour Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
Students hold a reserved, recurring weekly slot in the studio timetable. Because that time is committed exclusively to you, a minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or move a lesson without charge.
• Cancellations or reschedule requests made with 24 hours or more notice incur zero charge.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice or unattended sessions (no-shows) remain fully billable at the standard lesson rate.
• If the teacher must move a lesson due to performance commitments or illness, an alternative slot is arranged at no penalty.
2. Post-Lesson Payment Terms
Lessons are operated on a flexible pay-as-you-go model. Payment is due upon completion of each lesson via our secure Stripe link, mobile QR, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card.
Studio B deliberately does not offer multi-lesson block booking packages. You never have to track expiring credits or deal with pre-payment refund disputes.
3. Safeguarding & Minor Attendance
The tutor holds an active Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service. For all students under 16 years of age, parents and legal guardians are warmly invited to sit in on lessons. Comfortable studio seating is provided inside the teaching suite.
4. Photo & Video Media Consent
Studio B celebrates student progress and occasionally captures performance videos or photos for educational review, YouTube, Instagram, and website showcase.
We strictly require written parental consent before recording or publishing images or videos of any student under 18. Parents may decline or withdraw media consent at any time without affecting tuition.
5. Hearing Protection & Studio Safety
Drumming involves high acoustic sound pressure levels. Hearing protection is mandatory for all sessions. Professional sound-isolating ear defenders or high-fidelity earplugs are provided free of charge, or students may use their own personal ear protection.
Sessions conclude strictly at the scheduled time to ensure the next student begins promptly on schedule.
