Studio B ("we", "our") provides 1-to-1 drum instruction in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our students, parents, and website visitors in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. No Cookie Tracking
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising trackers, or invasive analytics. We do not store persistent tracking identifiers on your device, which is why you are not presented with an annoying cookie banner.
3. Information We Collect
We only collect information necessary to arrange and deliver drum lessons:
- Contact Enquiries: Name, email address, mobile phone number, student age, and musical goals.
- Calendar Reservations: Appointment date and time, processed directly within Google Calendar.
- Payment Transactions: Payment status, amount, and receipt details handled securely by Stripe. We never see or store full debit/credit card numbers.
4. Children's Data & Safeguarding
We teach children from age 7 upwards. For students under 18, all bookings, contact details, and payments must be supplied by a parent or legal guardian. Student records are held strictly for educational delivery and child safeguarding.
5. Third-Party Managed Platforms
We rely on trusted, industry-standard managed service providers:
- Google Workspace: Calendar management and email delivery under Google’s certified data protection safeguards.
- Stripe Payments UK: PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processing.
- Cloudflare Pages: Secure static edge web hosting with TLS 1.3 encryption.
6. Your Rights
