Electronic kits cannot replicate the dynamic touch, acoustic rebound, and cymbal nuances needed to play with genuine musicality. Studio B is equipped with premium acoustic gear.

Taught exclusively on high-end acoustic drums for genuine stick rebound, dynamic sensitivity, and tonal control.
Hearing Safety Guaranteed
High-grade sound-isolating ear defenders and earplugs are provided for all students. Personal hearing protection is also welcome.
Sticks Provided
Quality drumsticks are provided if required, though students are welcome to bring their favourite pair.

Everything you need to know about starting drum lessons at Studio B.
Do I need my own drum kit at home to get started?+
Not at all! Beginners only need a basic pair of 5A drumsticks and an inexpensive practice pad (around £15) to practice rudiments between lessons. We provide advice on acquiring acoustic or electronic kits when you are ready.
How do recurring slots and cancellations work?+
Students are allocated a dedicated weekly time slot. If you cannot attend, we require at least 24 hours notice to reschedule without charge. Notice given under 24 hours is charged at standard fee.
How do post-lesson payments work?+
No monthly contracts or upfront lump sums required. Following each completed lesson, payment is made on the day via our secure Stripe payment link (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card) or in the studio.
Do you prepare students for Trinity or Rockschool grades?+
Yes! We have a 100% pass rate for students who choose to take graded examinations, though exams are completely optional.
